Vehicle Maintenance

David Burbage FleetAmerican Heritage Ambulance's Maintence Facility is located at the Ladson Headquaters. It features a full service garage with state of the art equipment. The Fleet Manager is a Certified Master Technician and has greater than 30 years expereince in the automotive industry. All major repairs and maitenance of the entire fleet is performed onsite and documentation of such is available for audit/review at any time.

The Fleet Manager completed the certification course and is certified to maintian and service our Stryker stretchers as well. His ability to diagnosis mechanical failures is second to none therefore enabling management to effectively and efficiently manage fleet cost without the need for outside assistance.

Through Fleetmatics/GPS software he is able to manage the location of all units at any time. He monitors the unit speed, location and disposition real time.

American Heritage’s maintenance program is a preventative maintenance process. Any ambulance, support vehicle and/or piece of equipment with any deficiency that may compromise or may reasonably be expected to compromise its function will be immediately removed from service. American Heritage's ambulances comply with or exceed the SCDHEC/DOT standards.
