Jim Brogan began employment with American Heritage Ambulance upon its inception in February 2004. He came to us from Charleston County EMS where he served as an Independent Duty Paramedic. He has more than 30 years of medical experience. He is a retired Senior Chief in the United States Navy where he served as an Independent Duty Clinician.

He served as the Senior Enlisted Medical Advisor for the U.S. in the Iraq War and for NATO Forces during the conflict in Mogadishu, Somalia. As an Operations Supervisor he oversees all Operations Staff, serves as a public relations liaison between all client facilities and the ambulance company, manages the QA process, coordinates logistics and facilitates daily operations. He oversees patient care and is directly involved when necessary.

Jim served as a member of the SC DHEC EMS Division Investigative Review Board for 13 years. He has also served on several other state level committees for EMS. As a member of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic Exam Review Board he was tasked with writing the National Registry Exam. He attended the Naval School of Health Sciences and the George Washington School of Medicine to become a Non-Physician Clinical Provider for the Navy. Jim is well known and respected in the Medical Community. He has the reputation of going the extra mile and strives to consistently meet the needs of our customers and the community.
